757 Spring Flounder and Drum Open

The 757 Spring Flounder and Drum Open is a Catch and Release charity fishing tournament with 50% of all proceeds going to LRNow.

Goal

This tournament is run by Norfolk Academy student, Sam Light, with a goal of getting his school and the 757 community on the water and to spread awareness of a good cause.

Date

The tournament begins April 19, 2026 and ends May 3, 2026. All fish must be caught during that time period.

Prizes

This will be a Red Drum and Flounder tournament. There will be separate pots for the two fish categories; buy-in will be for both pots. Placement is off of the 3 Longest fish in either category.

First place in either fish category will receive 25% of the total pot; second place will receive their buy-in back.

Rules and Information: All fish must be caught (and proven to be caught) within Norfolk and Virginia Beach during the tournament time period, April 19 - May 3, 2026.
