LRNow Osprey Hike with Raptor Experts, Reese Lukei and Robert Brown

You don’t need a boat to see these ospreys up close! Bring binoculars and take a walk along 64th Street from the Narrows at First Landing State Park and see the big fish hawks on their nests, perched nearby or soaring overhead.

Join LRNow members and raptor experts, Reese Lukei and Robert Brown, for this unique opportunity to learn about and see ospreys that nest the natural way in trees and snags, instead of on man-made platforms and navigational structures on the water. This a 2-mile walk on uneven terrain. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Bring water to drink and you may want to consider bug spray and sunscreen.

Space is limited and fills quickly. Please remember there is a $10 State park entrance/parking fee if you do not already have a seasonal pass.
