Come join the F.U.N.
Discover the secrets of nature through crafts, stories, music, outdoor adventures, live animals, and more! This program allows kids ages 6 - 8 years to bring their favorite adult out to Pleasure House Point and the Brock Environmental Center for 2 hours of fun! F.U.N. not only teaches about a specific piece of the ecological story at Pleasure House Point, but also gives families ideas and activities that they can do outdoors in nature.

Tuesday, Scoopers and Stabbers - Head outside to find birds, especially the pelicans and herons that are found at Pleasure House Point.
Wednesday, Decomposition Drama - Dig in the dirt and see who lives there. Make a wormery to take home and set up your own pill bug motel.
Thursday, Butterflies and Moths - Learn about butterflies and moths. Take home, with permission, a caterpillar and/or chrysalis to raise and release, and create a special puddling dish to help butterflies get minerals they need.
Friday, Wacky Weather - Get a little messy as well as explore different kinds of weather. Become a meteorologists and make working weather instruments to take home.
