Walk & Talk Trees

Join Lynnhaven River Now and arborist, Brian Renne of Bartlett Tree Experts for a guided walk along the Bald Cypress Trail at First Landing State Park. This 1.8‑mile walk will take us through forested wetlands as we learn about native trees, their role in our ecosystem, and why they matter—just in time to celebrate Arbor Day.

As we walk the trail, Brian will share his professional expertise on tree identification, tree health, and the important role trees play in supporting coastal and watershed ecosystems. The trail includes uneven natural terrain.
